Chapel Bridge at Sunset, Lucerne, Switzerland

Description

Chapel Bridge or The Kapellbrücke is a 204.5m long, covered wooden bridge in Lucerne, spanning the Reuss River. It was built in 1360 and there are many beautiful paintings. Unfortunately, a large section of the bridge was destroyed in a fire back in 1994. It was rebuilt in 1994 and looks as grand as the day it was built.
